New order will help you to create a new order and if the product is added on the sell screen then all order goes to hold.
On below screen you can see that some product is added on a cart:

Now click on the ‘Check Operations’ and on it click on ‘New Order’.

After clicking on the ‘New Order’ all the products added to the cart are moved to ‘Open’. Below is the screenshot of hold orders:
