The gift Card option is used to buy the product using a gift card and manage gift card options like Sale Gift Card, Show Balance, and Topup Balance.
Sale Gift card:

The sale Gift card option will help you to sell gift cards to particular customers.

Where you need to enter the gift card number and gift card amount and click on submit.

In the sale gift card if you enter the gift card number that is already assigned at that time pop-up will displayed stating the gift card number is already assigned. Below is the screenshot for your reference:

If the gift card is sold but not used then you can resel it.

If the gift card is for single use only then after purchasing the product using gift card your remaining amount is lost.
Show Balance:

You can also check the balance for the gift card for any gift card click on Show Balance and the gift card number and click on Submit. Below is the screenshot for reference:

If the gift card is not sold and you want to show the balance then a warning shows. Below is the screenshot for reference:
Topup Balance:

The Topup Balance option is used to top up the balance of the gift card.

There are two types of gift cards in the system one is a one-time-use use gift card and the second is a multiple-use gift card.

Customers who purchase a one-time use gift card may only use it once.

And if the gift card is one-time-use and customer is assigned and payment is done by this card than the customer can not top up the amount and shows a warning, below is the screenshot for reference:

In a multiple-use gift card, you can top up the recharge for the gift card you just need to enter the gift card number and gift card amount and click on submit. Topup will get added to that customer gift card. Below is the screenshot for reference:

After clicking on the ‘Submit’ button from the top-up, a gift card will be added to the cart and after payment, the top-up amount will be added to the card successfully.
